Zimmer road rage??

Decision was made to take another day off for a spot of relaxing sight-seeing. This LEJOG stuff is a lot easier than I first thought!
Hobbling into the town centre, I was overtaken - in the inside lane - by an old dear, in her nineties, with as wheeled zimmer.
I could have sworn that she had an ear-to-ear grin, and was muttering something derogatory about "the youth of today!"
However, I'm hoping - at the moment, hopping - to see things improve fairly soon :{
If not, I may have to invest in a deluxe, coupe-version, wheeled-zimmer, but it would have to be the GSi model, with the associated road-rally performance pack!

Seriously, it has afforded me the privilege of enjoying the company, hospitality, and friendship, of some great folks, and also, taking in the sights and ambiance of this lovely city, whilst seeing some of the good work going on here, between Church and community.

  1. Well done Paranoiablue. You're better off out of the nonsense onm the VOG board at the mo. Focus on the walk and enjoy those you meet along the way. The journey is more important than getting there
    All thre best

  2. God does work in mysterious ways! It doesn't sound as if you are hopping mad at the moment but enjoying a break in the autumn sunshine and making good contacts. Enjoy the experience. Ian

  3. Dave - that is a pretty unlucky start to the trek. Are you sure that you did not "thought provoke" a local deity?

    Hope the ankle gets better soon and I will be watching (and mocking) with interest.

    Remember - there's a pot of gold at the end of every raindow.
