On your marks, get set, go....

I arrived in Penzance, around 19:30, and decided to walk into the town centre to look for a place to stay.
It was very busy because of the bank holiday. I tried a few places and it was "no go."
I hadn't realised that single rooms - although not exactly like hen's teeth - they are difficult to acquire.
I tried one place and the guy was wanting £70 for a double - me and my rucksack!!?? - I didn't even try to bargain from that price!!
So I decide I'd head to the outskirts and pitch my tent. However, I came across a sign - camping for £6 - and you got loos, hot water, and a shower - great.
However, as I was traveling light -  I did not realise how hard grass was and how cold it can get.  So I was fully clothed - forget the Naked Rambler Mark II bit -  with the rest of my gear that I could find, tucked around me, for the night!
Thus ended a 50 hour stint - man, I must be getting older... in the good old days, I could go at least.... yawn.
