This section will be remembered for lots of reasons – not least my “ankle incident” which still has ramifications [14th Sept], and probably will, for a while yet!!
However, lasting impressions, will also be that of great friendship, hospitality, and social concern.
For “fellow-Revs” et al, “google” – food bank Truro [to get website] – an initiative which will come more and more to the fore, if my “uber-bear” predictions are anywhere near the mark.
On a lighter note. It is good to face the traffic, but I found that on tight bends, and high hedgerows, it was better to cross over to the other side of the road. However zigzagging got a bit of a pain, so I resorted to walking in the middle of these lanes, and moved appropriately, depending whether the motor-noise was forward or aft.
NB Not an advisable procedure, whilst listening to ones I-pod!
