Further on, I noted this sign: "Important - this gate must be kept closed at all times."
Hmm! Why have a gate? Brick up the entrance, it will save renewing the sign when it falls off!
Up the road, just another 100yards, a sign post to "Scholar Green." An oxymoron? Perhaps not - I could name a few! :)

ReplyDeleteThe meaning of signs can be over complex or too simple. "Keep gate closed at all times" otherwise "Enter if you wish but please keep the lion in"
