I spent Friday and Saturday nights with my friends, Rev. Adrian, and his wife, Cath, in Wolverhampton.It was good see them again, so soon, as they had popped in past at N. Queensferry - thanks again.
On Saturday morning Adrian took me back to where he had picked my up, and I was able to walk through to Stafford, where he picked me - I spent the night with them - and he dropped me off the next day, at Stafford.
The great thing was that that day, I was able to walk without my backpack - bliss. I now realise how "Beefy" managed the LEJOG walk, those years ago, with reasonable ease.
